Reporting to the Regional Sales Director-Western Canada and covering the Edmonton and surrounding areas, this full time dual (retail and on premise) position will focus on the achievement of sales, distribution and market share objectives for the Trajectory Beverage Partners portfolio in both independent and chain retail stores, restaurants and hotels, through the building of relationships based on knowledge based selling and consultative approach.
The expectation of the ideal candidate would be one who engages in growing brand awareness through sampling, education and promotion programs. The successful candidate will possess a self-starter attitude with the ability to be entrepreneurial and resourceful to assist with improving inventory status by building displays and shelf maintenance.
- University degree/ College diploma with a focus on sales and marketing, with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience selling within the alcohol beverage industry.
- The ability to work independently with limited supervision while achieving specific annual targets is a requirement of the role.
- Strong inter-personal/relationship building skills are preferred, as well as confidence in public speaking as the successful candidate will be responsible to execute sampling programs and consumer events.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel within the territory.
